Stubborn Mule is a barn-style restaurant and brewery near downtown Landrum, named for Rosie, the blind rescue mule the owners adopted. Nearly everything is made in-house, from Neapolitan-style pizzas and smash burgers to a dozen taps of beer brewed on site. With a big beer garden, live music on weekends and views toward Hogback Mountain, it feels like the whole town's back porch, and it's a warm, lively place for a paint night.
