Greenville Beer Exchange is a longtime downtown favorite for people who love a good pour. Up front is a bottle shop stocked with local and hard-to-find beer; in back, a relaxed taproom pours around 20 rotating drafts. The wine side is just as serious, with a sommelier-curated selection of small-producer bottles that changes all the time. It's a laid-back, friendly room for an evening of painting, and you can pick out something to take home on your way out.
